California College Consortiums

California College Consortiums:

The Claremont Consortium and CollegeNext.org Consortium

Claremont Consortium, (gets its own page)

Central Valley Higher Education Consortium

The Central Valley of California is right where its name says it is: It runs down through the central part of California and contains some of the richest agricultural land in the world.

It is also the gateway to Yosemite National Park, Kings Canyon, the Lake Tahoe Ski area and many other attractions.

There are several great educational opportunities in the Central Valley. These colleges and universities make up the partnership of the Central Valley Higher Education Consortium.

The Central Valley Consortium also has community college members. These Central Valley community colleges offer students opportunities to obtain vocational training, Associates degrees and the opportunity to transfer to a CSU, UC or private university.

As we explain on our College Consortiums main page, two-year schools are not listed on our consortium pages, because of the defining nature of services offered through the consortiums by four-year institutions.
